The trailer begins with Mahatma Jyotirao Phule (Prateik Gandhi) who talks about creating a society where everyone is equal and promoting education for women and lower caste communities so that oppressive social systems can be reformed. It focuses on the life of Jyotirao Phule and Savitribai Phule (Patralekha Paul) in which the couple fought against caste discrimination against women and lower caste communities and worked tirelessly for women’s education.

The trailer also emphasizes on the couple’s awakening of self-respect of the lower castes. They fight against the wrong practices of the upper class. During their struggle, they are intimidated and challenged the social customs prevalent in Maharashtra in the late 19th century. This couple tries to educate girls and empower widows. Phule Trailer Review : Pratik Gandhi has given a great performance as Jyotirao Phule. He said that he is fortunate to play the role of Jyotirao Phule, a great social worker, businessman, writer and anti-caste social reformer. Pratik has created a lot of enthusiasm in his character. His character seems real. Patralekha has promoted the courage of women as Savitribai Phule, who is a leading reformer and has given reality to her character.

Her portrayal has perfectly depicted Savitribai’s perseverance and determination for the education of girls at that time and has impressed with her role as Jyotirao Phule’s wife. Apart from these, the film also has many supporting actors including Darsheel Safary, Richard Bhakti Klein, Vinay Pathak, Alex O’Neill, Jeet Rayadutt, Krishaka Patel, Sushil Pandey, Jayesh More, Akshay Gurav, Abhinav Singh Raghav, Amit Bahl and many others.
