The story of ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ is centered on the life of Ankur Chaddha (Arjun Kapoor), a professional man from Delhi, who is married to his college time girlfriend Prablin Kaur (Bhumi Pednekar). Ankur works in a real estate office and his wife is a journalist. After marriage, both are troubled by their high workload. Every morning they go to work and return in the evening. This was going on. Due to the high workload, both of them start quarreling with each other. One day, both of them get divorced. Ankur was very sad due to his failed marriage and divorce.
One day, Ankur meets Antara (Rakul Preet Singh), a girl from his college. Gradually, they meet each other and Ankur reduces his stress and starts loving Antara. Both decide to marry after convincing their families. Before marriage, due to an accident, Prablin returns to Vapi, bringing a storm in Ankur’s life. From here, the story takes a different turn.
