During one of his missions, he meets a boy, after which he remembers his bond with the boy from his reincarnation. Francis protects this boy in the past as Kanguva and protects the tribe and the island from other tribes and islands. Disha Patani (Francis’ ex-girlfriend) also catches bounty criminals in this movie. Bobby Deol is also the main villain.

Kanguva Movie Review :

Kanguva is the story of a brave warrior. The story begins with a lab where a child is being tested, from where a boy escapes and reaches Gova. In Gova, Surya (Francis) catches dangerous criminals for money for Gova policy. During one of his missions, Francis goes to catch a gangster named Jeetu, where he meets Zeta. Seeing her, Francis remembers some of his past life’s bondage.

Francis brings Zeta home with him. Gangster Dusuja’s men attack his house. Meanwhile, a large number of forces also attack Zeta with heavy fire to capture her and despite Francis’ efforts, Zeta is taken away in a helicopter.

After this, the story is shown in the scene of 1070 AD. An enemy named Roman Raja wants to capture Perumchi island out of the five islands of India with his ships and do his business. Perumchi has four other islands Mandyaru, Venkadu, Mukkad, Arthi. People of different communities live in these five depots in their traditional way.

The king of Perumchi island has a son Kanguva (Surya). Roman meets Mia San to capture Perumchi island. Mia San knows these five islands very well and does his business in these depots. Mia San takes gold coins from Roman to capture Perumchi island. Mia San also takes Geruva along for this work.

Geruva goes to the king of Perumchi with his wife and child and says that Roman wants to give you the work of building a ship. In return, he will give money and food. The king agrees and Geruva becomes the king of Perumchi. 100 warriors are sent for work. As per the agreement with Roman, Geruva and Roman’s men kill these warriors in the jungle, cut off their right hand and throw it in the river so that Roman can believe it.

After killing these 100 warriors, he comes to the king again and says that he needs 100 more warriors to build more ships. The king agrees. This time, while taking 100 warriors, Geruva stops them with a cut hand and tells the truth about Geruva to the king and the warriors. After this, the warriors call Kanguva for justice.

On Kanguva’s arrival, Geruva is punished. During the punishment, people also try to kill Geruva’s wife and son. Geruva’s wife asks Kanguva to leave her husband. When he does not agree, she hands over her child to Kanguva and asks him to protect him and jumps into the fire.

Geruva’s son sees his parents dying. Geruva’s wife and son did not know about his truth. Kanguva hugs him and asks people not to kill him.

Miya San now takes Roman to the king of Arthi, Udhiran (Bobby Deol) where Roman convinces Udhiran to fight Kanguva and his army. Udhiran agrees and calls his two sons to kill Kanguva. Kanguva kills both of them. After this, Udhiran himself becomes angry and a fierce battle ensues between the two. In the middle, Geruva’s son is killed, after which Kanguva gets angry and kills Udhiran.

Then the story returns to the present where Francis goes to free a boy named Jetta after capturing him.

Kanguva Movie Review : Technical Aspects

In this movie, Vettri Palaniswami has worked as cinematographer. Kanguva and Udhiran’s acting was worth watching. The action scenes in the movie are very thrilling. The song sung by Devi Sri Prasad in this movie was okay but the background song was bad, due to which the director is angry.

In the movie Kanguva, Surya has given his best performance as Francis and Kanguva, which makes this movie worth watching. Surya has done a decent job as a child artist. Bobby Deol looks great in his look as a villain but has disappointed with his acting. Redin (Accelerator) has done a good acting.
