Editor Saiju Sreedharan’s directorial debut, Found Footage, is a found footage thriller. The film is based on an anonymous vlogger couple Vishak Nair and Gayathri Ashok who live in Kochi. Both are YouTubers who collect footage and publish stories by talking to people. One day, their flatmate follows their neighbour into the jungle to collect footage. They encounter a haunted house, a full moon, a thundering, rainy night, etc.
Gradually, a horrifying situation unfolds before them. The story starts with horror and turns into a thriller. Will the two of them be able to get out of this situation safely? And why?
